Chocolate Cherry Cordial Cupcakes

Ok who does not love a delish chocolate cupcake? I mean really... Now I can make them even better with my new birthday Kitchenaid stand mixer. (thank you hubby)
Since I love adding a little creativity to my cupcakes, I decided I would try to make a Cherry Cordial Cupcake. Where I do this amazing cherry creamy filling in the chocolate cupcake. As I did this, I was unsure what type of icing would go well with this cupcake. Though a chocolate frosting would be to much, and a plain cream cheese frosting my just not be enough. So I added more cherries in my filling cream that was left over, some powdered sugar and such and it came out to be the most sensational cupcake. It is so tasty. I am very proud of my newest creation.

Sorry it has been a little bit since my last post... Lots going on.
Last night I was re-arranging the bunnies room. (which is going to be so cute when I am all done.) *Reminder, they are not completely together yet, due to them not exactly wanting to share their space.* While moving a shelf I had to move the gate/fence in the middle of the room that divides the area, and Ru sneaked out of her area and was snooping around Remy's area. As soon as Remy seen her he went running up to her. He was so excited, they chased eachother, or I guess I should say Remy chased her. Then Remy went into her area and was getting into everything and eating her hay. Which happens to be the same as his, but he wants nothing to do with his own hay. I guess the grass is greener on the other side. LOL
Then they would go up to eachother rub faces, then chase again. Remy was so excited he did a sideways hop, where he kinda kicks his feet out to the side as he is jumping. It is the cutest thing.
I did put the fence back up later. But it is good to know that they are slowly getting use to sharing the area.
I love my fur babies.

Made some tasty Valentines

Friday, I came home and started baking for an order of my Chocolate Covered Strawberry cupcakes, and my Salted Caramel Mocha cupcakes. I made 41 cupcakes and only needed 16 for my order. I just got carried away. lol...
Well the Salted Caramel Mocha cupcakes include fresh homemade whipped cream. It is amazing. I thought I would share this receipe with my followers.

Ingredients
2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup (50 grams) sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (see my recipe for homemade vanilla)
In a large bowl, or the bowl of a standing mixer, whip the heavy cream on medium high speed until it starts to thicken. Reduce speed to low and sprinkle the sugar into the cream. Return mixer to medium high and continue whipping until firm peaks form. Stir in vanilla. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Bunnies going bananas

So bunnies love bananas... Well mine do at least!! When i come in the room and unpeel that yellow delight, they go crazy for them... They chase me and beg for even just a little nibble. It is so cute. When the do get the banana, you better watch out because they will run you down.

 

Rukia love her nana's!!! I love when she eats them, that tongue is all over liking her lips and paws for every little bit left.

My personal Paper Shredders

So my bunnies love their boxes. But they love their phone books a little more. When you put the two together you get some really happy buns. They love to dig and tear up the paper.

Remy is more of a big piece kinda shredder. He also likes to eat the paper sometimes. silly bunny. (which it is ok for them to eat as long as it is a phone book or newspaper, because they use a vegetable based ink).

Rukia is the tear the paper to itty bitty pieces kinda bun. She has her paper all over the place. She likes her paper just inside her big box. It is her little bun nest.

Furry face cleaner

I will be laying with RuRu and she will be all snuggled up on me. She sometimes will get all lovey and give me kisses. But then everynow and then she gets really carried away with her kisses and will lick my whole face, cleaning my eyebrows, licking my nose. It is so cute. So i now have a new face cleaner. It is the fur RuRu cleaner.

It is really quite cute. I sometimes will rub my nose on hers and she then will start licking my nose.

Ah I love my fur babies.
